Spark's Creation - June 2005 - Enjoy Here

A couple months ago I had asked the groups about creation stories, myths, legends or scriptures, for hints and clues toward living in our now moment-- since for me Creation is constantly new. What I found when searching for guidelines or tips was the same sort of idea again and again of this existence being tainted, evil, or some how less-than. That's a heckuvaway to start out, isn't it?

From being cast out of the Garden of Eden of course, that's a popular one, to divine beings interbreeding with "animals" and becoming trapped in karma, or extraterrestrials interbreeding with or genetically tampering with "animals" and screwing up their natural line, there's like a curse or a condemnation from the beginning that somehow things are screwed up at the get-go.

Ring a bell? Strike a nerve? or does it resonate and you say yup get me the heck out of here?

Recently I ran through some popular metaphysical authors and even the ones who back up from good and bad, light and dark, and honor the whole Is, most of them still try to get people to rise above the "illusion." The illusion doesn't matter, it's not real. Well, tell that to somebody who runs straight into the coffee table at full speed in the middle of the night.

But, and, the part that really sticks out for me (yeah I'm noticing my focus) is the idea that the "illusion" is somehow LESS than whatever reality we could immerse ourselves in if we would only stop living in illusion. Embrace the Divine or Heaven or whatever new hologram is supposed to be better than the old hologram.

I prefer to embrace the hologram in front of my face, thankyouverymuch. I didn't come here just to get out, to try to escape. Yes there is a lot to be said for the peace one can find through meditation and other methods, touching the divine stuff wherein we know all is well. It's a wonderful space to be in and can give great understanding to the games we play here in physical.

Yet, I chose to play in this arena for a reason, and it does get so tiring sometimes to see so many guides and teachers and schools of thought direct people to ignore or get out of the very focus they/we wanted so very badly that we moved heaven and earth so to speak to make it happen.

One could look at it this way: Everything we've ever done ("past" --lol) has been to climax in this moment, and the next moment, and the next moment. This is our crux, our pinnacle, our shining achievement.

How does that feel?

(These aren't rhetorical questions. :) Share them at the groups or on the lists if you feel so inclined.)

If you haven't seen this before, or even if you have, this is a fun one to play with:
"I am here."
The word "here" is used as a noun, not an adjective. It means "this place."

"I am this place."

!

:) Truth. Like it or lump it.

So my suggestion for this June is to enjoy here. :) For a little while, let go of any idea that this place is tainted or less-than, and just see what difference that makes if any. Play with it.

I have asked people for years, what if we came here for vacation? Could you imagine? Stepping out of the physical vehicle at transition and slapping forehead like a V-8 commercial-- doh!!
